Synopsis: On a routine mission, the crew of the space shuttle Odyssey find themselves the sole survivors of a sundered planet when the Earth implodes while they are in orbit. Synopsis: Chuck returns, but not to stay, despite Neil's growing frustration with his father's behaviour. The only person Neil can talk to is Holly, and the two grow closer. Meanwhile, bodies bearing strange markings have been found which Angela and Sarah trace to the Trans Humanist Society, who believe that the human consciousness can be downloaded into a computer.
