As it’s your story, I don't expect you to change anything just because I suggested it, but I always try to be constructive. I will be able to get back to you reasonably quickly, but let me know the timeframe involved. Just for your information, I professionally edit an architecture journal, hence the speciality in science/maths and sociology, and I've already said I read anything and everything, so hence Literature. I'm particularly very good at finding appropriate quotes, if that's any help. Lastly, I love the character Lex, so if your story involves any serious warping in his characterisation, prepared to be negotiated with! |

If you are working at a deadline I might not be the best person to ask. Most of my attention is paid to plotting and flow of the work, though I tend to pick up most of the spelling and some grammar problems. I prefer nothing to do with incest or rape pieces. My favorite character is Lex at his most manipulative and I am a believer in Clark/Lex "one true pairing". Other variations on the theme would have to be believable. I don't really do Clana...if you want me to beta one, you'll have to really work to make me like it! If your fic plays up Pete as the 'token black guy' (in other words make him say things like 'Yo homey,' or 'What's up dawg') I will not read it. If it's a parody then I have no problem with it, but you need to tell me it's a parody! I usually get
back to you the day you send the fic, unless it's ridiculously long. I'm very thorough and good with grammar and characterisation. I give back constructive criticism and do not believe in flaming anyone for any reason. :) |
