P/T Round Robin Board Posting Guidelines

This board was created to give all P/T writers--both from the Internet and AOL--the opportunity to write round robins together. These stories would be completely apart and separate from the continuity of the P/T Collective round robin series.

Anyone is invited to participate. If groups of authors wish to write under one nickname as the Collective does, that's fine. Or individuals can use the board to post works in progress for the purpose of getting feedback. However, finished stories should be sent to the archive, not posted to the board. Requests for beta readers can be made on either (or, to reach the largest number of people, both) message board.

New parts are to be posted as separate messages so that they stay up for as long as possible, and then feedback and notes and discussion would go in the replies. Parts should be labelled thusly "Story Title, Part, Rating".

The board will use the MPAA ratings, which are:

G - General Audiences

PG - Parental Guidance suggested

PG-13 - No child under the age of 13 should be reading this without parental consent.

R - No child under the age of 16 should be reading this without parental consent due to the graphic nature of the fiction.

NC-17 - No child under the age of 18 should be reading this without parental consent due to the graphic nature of the fiction. This counts for both violence and sexual situations, and is roughly equivalent to the television rating of TV-MA for those of you with pay cable...

No X-rated fiction is accepted. If porn is posted, it will immediately be deleted, the author's parentage will be called into question, and curses heaped on both his or her ancestors and descendants.

If you want to write the next section of a story, call DIBs in the reply! Each post is dated with the time, so it's easy to see who calls it first.

We will need a volunteer to archive the stories as they are being written, so that we have a copy to edit and then submit to the archive once it's done. It can be a team of people, or a diff. person each story.

The board has a half-life of 30 days. After that, the parts disappear into the ether.

Like the archive, the stories should either centre around the characters of Tom Paris, or B'Elanna Torres, or both. Like the archive, any story is acceptable, not just romance.
