Thank you oh, mighty gods of Paramount who brought us these wonderful toys to play with. Disclamier 2: The song Living in a Moment is sung by Ty Herndon and is owned by him and his record label. No infringement is intended. It just gave me some inspiration. Well, the world just lost two lonely people The world just lost two broken hearts "B'Elanna will you marry me?" "What? Are you serious?" "Completely." "Why?" "Because I Love you and against all odds I have found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. You can't say we aren't meant for each because we fight so much. Cuz the way I see we may not be right for anyone else so why not. The simple fact is I can't live without you." B'Elanna did not know what to say. Her heart was so full of emotion she thought it would burst. "Yes, Tom. I will marry you." He swept her into his arms and held her there. She had just handed him his dreams. The odds were against it and baby here we are. In our own little world in our own little place this old cold world just got a little warmer. For the rest of my life I'm gonna hold you in my arms. "Do you, Thomas Eugene Paris, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, till death do you part?" Captain Janeway asked. Tom turned to his bride and looked into her eyes. He had no doubts. This was the woman he wanted to see every morning and the last thing he saw at night. "I do." He answered still looking in her eyes. Captain Janeway turned to B'Elanna, "Do you, B'Elanna Torres, take this man to be you lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, till death do you part." B'Elanna looked at Tom and saw the complete love and acceptance in his eyes. He loved her for everything she was and everything she was not. He loved her Klingon temper and all and she loved him for the same reasons. If she had harbored any doubts they were blown away by the look in his eyes. "I do." She answered still looking into his eyes. "Then I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." the Captain said with a huge grin on her face. Tom pulled B'Elanna to him and kissed her. To them the world and everything around them dissolved. It was just them. No on else was there. Then reality set in when they heard the applause. They parted to accept the congratulations of their friends. If I never get rich on what money can buy It don't matter to me and I'll tell you why. I've got it all when I am holding you this way. "Come on, Bella, you can do it. I know you can." "Tom, shut up." "Bella if I could have this baby for you I would but I can't" She gripped his collar and pulled him close. "Tom, I hate you." "No, you don't" "Why you.. AHHH!!! This hurts." "You're the one who didn't want any drugs." "I take it back. I want drugs. Doctor give me drugs. PLEASE!!!" "I am sorry, Lt., but that is not possible. The baby is almost here. The window has closed." The Doctor replied to her. "Well, open the damn window and give me some pain killers. AHHHH!!!" "I can't." He returned. She made a move like she was going to lunge for him, but the next contraction forced her to lay back again. "This is it. Now push, B'Elanna." "I AM PUSHING!!! YOU MORON!!!!" "Name calling will not speed up the delivery, B'Elanna." She mumbled something in Klingon the doctor did not quite catch but Tom did and he just ducked his head trying not to laugh. "You can do it, Bella." "One more push should do it." The Doctor announced. She gave one more push and collapsed on the bed. "Congratulations, Lieutenants, you have a beautiful little girl." The Doctor wrapped the baby in a blanket and handed her to the new parents. Tom and B'Elanna just stared at her. She was so perfect. "Welcome to Voyager, Victoria Rose." I'll live to love you. I'd die to keep you Safe inside these arms that need you. I'll be loving you with the very last breathe I take. Later that night Tom and B'Elanna placed little Victoria Rose in her crib and went to the living area. "Bella, come here. I want to dance with my beautiful wife who is also the mother of the most beautiful little girl in the delta quadrant." "Tom, I am really too tired." "One dance, Bella. This old song has been going in my mind for a while now and I want you to hear it." "Oh, alright." She said stepping into his arms. "Computer, play song "Living in a moment by Ty Herndon." The music started and they danced. Ashes to Ashes, dust into dust I'll lay beside you forever in love And when the carve my stone all they need to Write on it Is once lived a man who got all he ever wanted. Tell me something who could ask for more. Than to be living in a moment Loving every minute Tell me something who could ask for more. Than to be living in a moment You would die for. The music faded and B'Elanna looked at her husband. His eyes were shining. "Thank you, Tom, that is a beautiful song. I feel the same way." "I just wanted you to hear it. Now why don't we go to bed. You look exhausted." She started to turn when he swept her into his arms. "Tom, what are you doing." "The least I can do is carry you to bed. You did give birth to our daughter today." He carried her to their bed and there they slept content to be living in a moment they would die for.
