Changing desicions with the seasons

She knew, she could see, it wasn't going to matter, the tears would not be filled, all alone again, but right now it didn't matter. "God is there ever a second when you're not writing." "C'mon Clark, it's my duty to provide the world with the juiciest news possible." "And when you say news you mean, gossip?" "Yah, sure, call it whatever you want, gossip, news." Chloe said trailing off. Small talk used to satisfy Chloe, but somehow it just didn't do it for her anymore. Whenever Clark was around she found it extremely hard to concentrate. It hurt to look at him, he was so beautiful, and she couldn't have him. She knew who he wanted, Lana, she shuddered. Chloe hated Lana more and more with each passing day. "O...kaayyyy, that should do it." She said with her final click of the mouse. Her chair wheeled around swiftly to face Clark. He just smiled. Oh god. She quickly turned away; it burned her, worse than any physical pain she'd ever felt. Chloe stood from her chair, smiling sheepishly at Clark before stepping gingerly toward the door to leave. To her surprise Clark jumped to block the way. Her eyes widened in surprise. Clark was looking at her in a way she had only dreamed about. "Clark?" She questioned, he was probably just leading her on. "Chloe, there's something...that.... well, I've been meaning to tell you." "Oh." She was slightly disappointed; this was obviously more small talk. "Well, you see, I've been having this feeling lately." He said reaching his hand out to brush the hair away from her face. Chloe was very confused. "This yearning that I can't suppress anymore." "But, Lana, I thought-''
"Lana." Clark sighed; this was a never-ending issue. "Forget about Lana, this isn't about her anymore." "Really." She eyed Clark suspiciously; this had to be some kind of a joke. "Clark this really isn't funny -" Before she could finish her sentence Clark claimed her mouth with his. It was everything she had ever imagined. Clark's hands slid through her hair and down onto her shoulders. Chloe fumbled madly, trying to place her hands in the right spot. "I love you Clark."
"I love you too." Was she really hearing this? Could Clark have possibly said...no, he couldn't have. "I love you." He whispered again. His hands groped all over her body. She was purring like a kitten. Her hands ran up his shirt, running over his perfect, smooth skin. Clark grinned at her as he started to unbutton her shirt. A slight blush spread to her face, but her embarrassment was not as overwhelming as it usually was. After all, this was the moment she had been dreaming of, ever since she could remember. Clark finished with the last button as Chloe shrugged her shirt off her shoulders. He looked her deeply in the eyes while he ran his fingers back and forth under her bra. She was really going to do this here, now. Chloe lifted Clark's shirt off his chest and stood for a minute to take in his beauty. Wow. Clark wrapped his arms around Chloe as their mouths collided. There was a struggle of hands to take off pants, shoes, any remaining clothing. Chloe pulse was accelerating to the highest she thought it could possibly go; he breath was coming out in short, shallow, breaths. She knew, she could see, it wasn't going to matter, the tears would not be filled, all alone again, but right now it didn't matter. Clark ran his fingers through her hair admiringly. They kissed passionately, until, Clark ran his hand down to her inner thigh. Chloe gasped as Clark ran his hands over her crotch, feeling through her underwear. Clark slipped her underwear off easily along with his. Chloe tried not to look but, what the hell. Another outstanding wow. She ran her hands down to his hips, sliding her hands over his length, drawing a large moan from him. Clark spread her legs open wider as he slipped one finger inside of her. Chloe stopped moving immediately. It was the oddest feeling, she didn't want to move, she was afraid of messing anything up. "Relax." Clark whispered into her ear, sliding a second finger in gently. He removed his fingers and pressed his length up against her. Then that was the moment. Chloe held her breath as he slowly slid himself into her. He watched her face closely as he continued. It didn't really hurt, but it was uncomfortable, but only for a second. Then, like a breeze a feeling blew over Chloe. It was nothing she had ever felt before. She knew, she could see, it wasn't going to matter, the tears would not be filled, all alone again, but right now it didn't matter. They started to rock slowly, back and forth, back and forth. They kissed, moaned, felt themselves reaching the top together. Chloe felt an odd feeling, she was coming to something. She wanted release, and Clark was going to be the one to give it to her. They stared into each others eyes, until the moment came. The white-hot light flooded, like a gate opening at last. She knew, she could see, it wasn't going to matter, the tears would not be filled, all alone again, but right now it didn't matter. They lye shaking together, sweating, tired. All she could think about at that moment was Lana. All this time she had thought it was Lana he wanted. "I love you," Clark said, "I love you Lana." Then it hit her like a freight train. She knew, she could see, it wasn't going to matter, the tears would not be filled, all alone again, but right now it didn't matter.
